ELICOS TEACHERS

Cornell Institute of Business and Technology has an English Language College that provides
a range of courses. The college is well resourced and uses modern communicative language
teaching methods are used to develop student's language skills in a good classroom environment.
Cornell is continually trying to improve are English Language teaching department and is therefore
keen to employ motivated, progressive ELICOS teachers for courses such as General English, IELTS
and High School Preparation. Interested teachers are therefore encouraged to apply

Essential Criteria:
A university degree and TESOL qualification

Desirable Criteria:
An enthusiastic approach to communicative language learning, with experience in General English,
EAP, IELTS and High School Preparation

High School TEACHERS(Year 11 and 12)

Applications for teaching positions at Cornell High School are most welcome.

Subjects include:
Preliminary and HSC Mathematics, English (ESL), Business Studies, Economics, Information
Processes and Technology (IPT) and Chinese to Background Speakers.

Applicants must have recognised teacher qualifications at the secondary level and if recently
qualified, provisional accreditation by the Institute of Teachers (NSW)
